How token swaps work

BakerySwap uses liquidity pools instead of an order book. A pool holds two assets, and its token balances help determine the quoted price when someone trades against it. The price can move while a transaction is pending, especially when liquidity is thin.

In the swap interface, start by choosing the token to send and the token to receive. Check that the selected network and token symbols match what you intended before entering an amount.

Review the trade

Look at the quoted rate, expected slippage and network transaction cost together. A low pool balance can make a larger order move the execution price. Token names and logos can be copied, so verify a token's contract address from a source you trust.

Connecting a wallet does not complete a trade. Read the confirmation shown by the wallet before approving any transaction, and check the result on the network afterward.
